My mother’s 76th birthday would have been last week and I thought to give Ricki a call. I had not spoken to her since sometime after my mom passed and for some reason I looked her up on the internet just before I picked up the phone. I was terribly upset to learn of her passing, and your loss. Please accept my most sincere condolences. My mother and Ricki were friends since high school and even after my mom could no longer speak, Ricki continued to contact me for updates on her condition. Her concern for my mom meant a great deal to us. Now she is reunited with all those she loved who went before her, and she waits to be joined again with those who still remain here.
Note: I shared the Roosevelt photo with her a while back and she was amazed to see my mother had saved it…apparently they had a great time on this school trip (but I’m not sure which girl is her!)

Ricki was a dear friend sharing many fun and cherished moments together. It was difficult leaving Buffalo Grove 3 1/2 years moving to Colorado but as usual she was very supportive of my change. Always inviting her for a visit. I will miss chatting about our adult kids and grandchildren. She is loved always.

Ben and Jennifer:
I am so sorry for the loss of your sister/sister in law. I knew her when I was the ED at Seasons and, of course, knew your mother well. Ricki was so attentive to her.
My thoughts are with you.
Regards,

Steve and I were saddened to hear about the passing of Ricki. She is with her beloved Paul whom was the love of her life and whom she missed dearly. Ricki was a devoted, loving and giving grandmother to her grandchildren, which were front and center always. Ricki loved her family! To Allison, Matt, Kelly, Ben, and their families, may her memories live in your hearts forever. Ricki, I will never forget our vacation to Sedona and the drive 7000 feet up to visit Jerome. You were brave throughout that climb even though your fear was real. We were able to laugh about it years later. Rest in Peace my friend. xoxo
